About Corvus

Corvus International Inc was created in 1991 through the merger of two separate companies: one an expert in Organizational Development and the other a software engineering consultancy. This blend of Industrial Organizational (OD) psychology and high tech systems development expertise has allowed Corvus to operate across and provide value to a wide range of industries and enterprises over three decades. Corvus International is a Minnesota-registered corporation.

Susan L. Slater Ph.D.

Susan has over 30 years of consulting experience with a variety of clients in the United States, Europe, Asia, India & Africa. She has worked with clients in the airline, healthcare, electronics, entertainment, software development, construction, pharmaceutical, and telecommunications industries. She has experience in working at all organizational levels to create measurable improvements through the design and application of effective organizational change initiatives. Susan has served as a coach for individual executives at the Corporate Vice President & Director levels in a variety of organizations.

Dr. Slater received her doctorate in Industrial Psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Phillip Glen Armour

Phil has been in the software business for over 40 years building many different types of business and industrial systems. He has consulted with and implemented changes to the systems development processes and organizations of many companies large and small and personally taught systems development processes to over 20,000 software engineers, analysts, programmers, managers, and executives.

Phil currently serves as the Director of Corvus International's Shields Lake Center for Leadership Development and provides development and technical support for Corvus programs.

He was a contributing editor at Communications of the ACM for 18 years, is the author of The Laws of Software Process (Auerbach 2004) Is a Senior Member ACM, a Senior Life Member of IEEE, and is currently an editor at IEEE Computer magazine.
